The Desothane® HS CA8800 is a high-solids polyurethane topcoat formulated to provide durable, long-lasting protection for aircraft exterior surfaces.Giving excellent gloss, colour retention and resistance to impact, erosion and harsh weather conditions. The coatings is designed for application over compatible PPG Desoprime® epoxy primers and Desofil® surfacers, creating a smooth high-gloss finish that can be buffed to remove minor surface imperfections. Its durable formulation also provides resistance to Skydrol® aviation hydraulic fluids, helping maintain the appearance and integrity of coated surfaces. Supplied in RAL 9005 Jet Black in a 5L container, this topcoat is suitable for aircraft refinishing, maintenance and exterior coating applications where consistent colour, surface protection and finish quality are essential.
