PPG Aerospace CA8300C2 HS Thinners - 2.5 lit

PPG Desothane HS CA8300C2 is a reducer for use with the Desothane CA8300 HS Polyurethane Topcoat Gloss. It is used to adjust application viscosity and optimise spray characteristics when mixed with compatible Desothane HS base and activator components, supporting consistent atomisation, smooth flow, and controlled evaporation to achieve uniform film build and high-quality surface finishes. Reducer C2 is typically selected to suit specific ambient temperature and application conditions, contributing to stable pot life and predictable curing behaviour when used at the recommended mix ratios. Within the CV123 HS Polyurethane Varnish Gloss system, CA8300C2 is used at a ratio of 0.5 part reducer. The reducer carries a shelf life of 24 months in its original, unopened container, and should be stored at temperatures between 5°C and 35°C (41°F to 95°F) to ensure shelf life is maintained. This product is qualified to DEF STAN 80-225.
