BONDERITE C-AK ALUM ETCH 2 AERO, a highly effective white, granular mixture formulated for cleaning light soils and etching aluminum through immersion methods. This solution features a low surface tension, ensuring uniform wetting of the metal surface and producing a smooth matte finish on extrusions, structural shapes, aircraft components, truck bodies, and similar aluminum parts. Nonflammable in powder form or in solution, it readily mixes with cold water at recommended dilutions, creating minimal soft, non-caking sludge during operations within the temperature range of 50°C to 70°C. The product provides a uniform etch rate of 0.2 to 0.25 mils per minute on most aluminum alloys and can be easily controlled through simple titration.
