The DOW CORNING DOWSIL PR-1200 Red Silicone Primer is a silicone-based primer designed to promote adhesion of silicone sealants and coatings to various substrates. It enhances adhesion of many moisture cure RTV and heat cure silicones. Diluting by a factor of 2 to 4 with additional solvent may avoid excessive build-up. Supplied in a 500ml container, the volume allows technicians to prepare multiple bonding surfaces during sealant application.
